You have to let go of the flower to have the fruit; you have to leave the flower of actualization before you can have the fruit. It is possible to understand this process of penetration of veils if you look at it from the perspective of reality. If you are looking at it from the other side, from the perspective of the world, it is not possible to see because things are only seen as gains and losses. It will look as if you are always either gaining something or losing something. From the perspective of no mind, you will see it is not a gain or loss, but a matter of unveiling, a matter of discovery, and that is the process that happens. The unveiling, the discovery and penetration, is a process of becoming more and more naked until your bare bottom hits ice. Then you get stung directly—not through the mind, through your bottom. That’s when you really know. As long as you know it with your mind, it is an old idea. When you really sit on it with your bare bottom, it stings and burns you; then you know something. You know it without having to look back at it, without self-reflection—it just stings. – Diamond Heart Book Four: Indestructible Innocence, ch. 8
Life becomes a process of creative discovery from the moment essence is recognized and experienced as one’s true being. It continues to be an endless process of creative discovery when the identity shifts to essence; however, there is now the understanding that it is so. There is now the understanding and the trust that essence will bring about whatever needs to be brought about. The ego does not need to work any more. The creative process happens on its own. Ego can only obstruct it. This is true the moment essence is discovered. – Essence with the Elixir of Enlightenment: The Diamond Approach to Inner Realization, Ch. 5
For a long time, there is huge temptation to just finish. When we attain the place of finishing and are abiding in stillness, peacefulness, luminosity, and beauty, we realize that suffering is no longer motivating us and relief is no longer our goal. As we mature in this realization, practice continues because no realization can ever end discovery. Practice then becomes a realization that is realizing further and deeper realization. And the realization that is realizing realization is endless. It has no end. – Runaway Realization: Living a Life of Ceaseless Discovery, Ch. 4
